Celebrating Multilingualism
at Easton C of E
About Us
Welcome to the hub for our project: Celebrating Multibilinguilism at Easton C of E.

This project will bring together education consultants, academics, artists, teachers, parents, learners, and key stakeholders from Easton C of E primary school to further their understanding of multilingualism and ways of supporting/teaching EAL learners.

The project team will provide unique opportunities for educational activities aimed at young learners and developing the groundwork for building collaborations across multilingual communities.

Through an interactive and creative approach involving sharing sessions and artwork, teachers, learners and parents can share their stories and shape their community; explore and celebrate multilingualism; and have an opportunity to improve their understanding of EME, translanguaging, and EAL support.
The local community in and around the school, other local primary schools and interested parties will be invited to the sharing sessions and launching of the teaching hub - this website! The site is a space to collect and share ideas in an accessible and collaborative manner that advances and celebrates multilingualism - not only to those immediately involved in the project, but it will be available to other schools and the wider community in Bristol and Bath too.
